Freight Damage Guide ▾

Riviera Paddlesurf is proud to stand behind all freight damages, if noted and handled properly. We go to great lengths to make sure freight is delivered properly and that all claims are filed and credited in a timely manner. Damages that are noted properly are credited or replaced ASAP. Those that are not noted (concealed damage) are still fought by Rivera’s Customer Service department but no claim dollar amount can be guaranteed. Claims can take anywhere from 30 to 120 day to be fully processed.

Requirements:

  • Valid proof of purchase from Authorized Riviera Paddlesurf dealer.
  • Photos of board clearly showing damage.
  • Model of board.
  • You must be original purchaser.
  • Riviera Paddlesurf will decide if damage falls under warranty guidelines.
  • Warranty claim form must be filled out and returned to your dealer within 7 days from the date defect was discovered.

Limited warranty does not cover:

  • Damages that are either not marked or refused at the time of delivery.

 

* All boards and packages must be inspected upon arrival; any damage must be noted on the BOL.

* Riviera Paddlesurf is not liable for damages not noted for.

Riviera Warranty Guide ▾


Riviera Paddlesurf is proud to stand behind the products we make. We go to great lengths to continually evolve the construction and quality of all our products. For this reason Riviera Paddlesurf offers a 90 day limited warranty to the original purchaser against any defect in workmanship or materials. All warranty claims must be started through the Riviera dealer where the original purchase was made.

Requirements:

  • Valid proof of purchase from Authorized Riviera Paddlesurf dealer.
  • Photos of board clearly showing defect.
  • Serial # of defective product.
  • Model of board with serial number.
  • You must be original purchaser.
  • Riviera Paddlesurf will decide if defect falls under warranty guidelines.
  • Warranty claim form must be filled out and returned to your dealer within 7 days from date of which defect was discovered.

Limited warranty does not cover:

  • Damage or defects caused by impact with any material or object.
  • Damage or defects caused by use of products other than for the purpose for which it was intended.
  • Damage or defects caused by transport, loading, unloading, dropping, out of water handling of the product.
  • Damage or defects caused by non-recreational use, or rented through or at rental centers or lessons.
  • Damage or defects caused by excessive heat exposure including direct sunlight, extended amount of time in a car and / or board bag.
  • Damage or defects caused by waves or falling in surf conditions.
  • Damage or defects caused by previous repairs.
