The Lost Mills race was held this past weekend in Germany, and Riviera Team Rider Kim Barnes made the trip to europe for the Lost Mills Event as well as the Bilbao Paddle Challenge in Spain.
Kim has had a few top finishes this year, and had great finishes in Germany putting herself in 10th Overall on the weekend. This event is a bit different than most because the men and Women race 14'. The level of racing was extremely high in the mens and womens field. The paddlers in the top 20-30 are all top competitors at any race in the world. Now that the SUP Racing season has slowed down we had a free weekend to rally the team and go for a fun paddle from Dana Point Harbor towards Laguna and back. It is an incredible stretch of coastline and sometimes we even forget these beautiful beaches are just around the corner. Enjoy the gallery and feel free to share with your friends.
Here is a quick clip of a SUP Session the day after the Pacific Paddle Games Event. After a weekend full of racing it was nice to take a break and go for a surf. With the swell still on the water and 74+ degree water it couldn't have been much better. Ryan Helm was riding his new Riviera Pro Model The Whirling Dervish 7'6" and Brandon Rambo was riding the Riviera 6'4" SUP Skate... Yes, 6'4.
