With summer here it's has been a big couple of week for the Riviera Team.
TOMMY BAHAMA PIER PADDLE
The Santa Monica Pier Paddle Race is one of the longest running ocean races in California. Still today it is one of the biggest SUP Races on the calendar each year combining distance race and surf race. With a tough playing field and some of the top Women in the world showing up to compete, Shae Foudy was able to take home her 2nd Consecutive Win at the Tommy Bahama Pier Paddle Event.

ROCK 2 ROCK
The Rock 2 Rock went down this past weekend which is a grueling 22 mile paddle from Catalina Island to San Pedro. Brian Haag and Mace Camhe were up to the challenge and took there RP-14 Raceboards and ended up with a 2nd place finish.
COEUR D'ALENE SUP CUP CHALLENGE
The Coeur d'Alene SUP CUP Challenge also went down this past weekend in North Idaho College Beach. Cyril Burguiere showed up with his RP-14 Raceboard and ended up taking the overall win for both the Elite Long Course and SUP Cross.

The Bilbao Paddle Challenge race was held this past weekend in Spain, and Riviera Team Rider Kim Barnes had a great finish with a 6th overall in the Elite Women's.
"Such an incredible experience paddling in Bilbao, Spain. Paddling on the river in front of the Guggenheim Museum with some of the best racers in the world was priceless!" -Kim Barns
The Lost Mills race was held this past weekend in Germany, and Riviera Team Rider Kim Barnes made the trip to europe for the Lost Mills Event as well as the Bilbao Paddle Challenge in Spain.
Kim has had a few top finishes this year, and had great finishes in Germany putting herself in 10th Overall on the weekend. This event is a bit different than most because the men and Women race 14'. The level of racing was extremely high in the mens and womens field. The paddlers in the top 20-30 are all top competitors at any race in the world. The 8th Annual OluKai Ho‘olaule‘a went off last weekend and the conditions were ideal for the famous Maui downwinder. Local Talia Decoite, 13 year old Jade Howson and Daniel Russel from Team Riviera made the trip out to Maui to compete and participate in the weekend events.View full article →
